any suggestions for a good car/driver?

Hi,

Does anyone have the email address, name and phone number or website for a good, honest and reasonably well priced car and driver hire service in Delhi?
These are the basic details of our trip just in case a driver is reading and wants to contact me directly (or if any of one else out there has tips or advice);

There are four of us flying into Dehli on December 30 and we are hoping to hire 1 car from January 1, 2006 - January 15 that will fit all of us and our luggage.
Our plans are to go from Dehli-Jaipur-Pushkar-Jodhpur-Mt Abu-Dungapur-Udaipur-Sawai Modhopur-Agra and back to Delhi.

Thankyou so much for any help that anyone can give.
This is greatly apprciated.

Thanks agian

Kate,

I had an excellent driver last winter when my husband and I took a 17 day trip around Rajathan.

The arrangements were made through a wonderful hotel in Jaipur: Jas Villas. You can get the contact information through the "hotels" section of IM, just look up Rajasthan and you'll find it. I believe they can have a car sent to pick you up in Delhi, just ask. I recommend their hotel as well.

The name of the driver we had was Mr. Raj. (AKA Babalu) Best driver I've ever had in India. Have fun! Sounds like a great trip!

Car & Driver out of Delhi

We highly recomend Namaste India tours.... for making arrangements for reasonably priced car and driver...Prem Singh was our driver and if you can get him you would be in very good hands. Check out their web site we are so glad we did! namasteindiatours.com Balini

Suggestions for a good car and driver

I agree with Balini. If you go with Namaste India Tours you can't go wrong. I, too, travelled with them (and Prem, easily the sweetest soul in the universe) and they made my life so much easier than it would have been without them. Prem treated us as he would his own Mum and Dad (which was the way he referred to us) and he ran interference for us, shielded us from the most aggressive touts, directed us to good shops, found us medicine, pointed us to good restaurants, slayed dragons for us and generally cared for our well being in a way only my mother and wife have done for me. Use Namaste and ask for Prem. No other brand will do! Wait a minute...is that BALINI? Say, didn't we travel together in Rajasthan? And aren't we MARRIED? I THOUGHT I recognized your writing. How are you, anyway? What have you been up to?
