Any Rs.150/- ($3) places to sleep near paharganj

Hi all,
Might arrive in Delhi either in April or May, nothing decided yet but would love to be near Paharganj as well as be part of any Delhi IM meetup if happening around that time. Would be looking preferably for a clean room with a balcony or window(whatever) & just sleep at night mostly.
Would try to work out so that we can meet up. Hope to be there for 3-4 days & then head up north. Anybody has any ideas. suggestions feel free to put up on the board.
In case somebody has already done this before then the links of those threads would be good enough. Thanx in advance

I am sure you can find good cheap hotels for the kind of money you are looking at however you might have to give up on other luxuries like - a lot of mosquitos, power supply issues, not so clean bathrooms, water availability etc...

1. I'm a native, Indian.
2. I would be there for less than a week.
3. The place would be used for sleeping & morning duties & nothing else.
I've found many places for less than this in the north, clean mind u so this would be suprising if there aren't there.
What my question was where should I concentrate my energies to find such a place in paharganj. It needs to be near the main bazaar as would like to see the bazaar & interact with some of the locals as well as the some of the westerners. Get some ideas as how things are up north. I've found a good cup of chai is a good sounding board to know what happens where/when & how things are.
