Anokhi discount shop?
Anokhi discount shop?
Hi.
Anokhi has a discount shop listed in Nizamuddin East Market in Delhi. Can anyone tell me if this is worth visiting -- is the collection there discounted year round & do they have a good selection? How does this shop deffer from the ones in Khan market & GK-1? Which would you recommend checking out?
Also, I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me what the Anokhi price range is.
Thank you.

Reason: found out what it is now.
I've only been to the Anhoki in Jaipur. Beautiful stuff. Pricewise, I bought a hand-block-printed cotton/silk salwar kameez for about $100 CDN last Nov...
I think its expensive, but some very nice good quality clothing.

It might be the best of times or the worst of times...but it's the only time you've got!

Anokhi usually has an annual discount sale in Feb-March. The first few days are OK, after that it's seriously depleted stock.
I've only been to the Anokhi store in Jaipur and seen the HQ on the outskirts. From the looks of it on the website, the shop in Nizamuddin should be discounted year round. (like the study by janak discount outlet in noida).

After visiting the Anokhi discount shop in Nizamudin East, gate no. 9, I'd like to share my experience for the benefit of others.
The shop was an auto rikshaw ride away from Khan market (paid 50 rs. each way and the driver took me back and forth).
Most items are 35% off, some 50%. Selection was from currant as well as past seasons. The selection was not vast when I visited but I did pick up a few items I really like and enjoy.
Check items for small flaws.
Worth a visit
Enjoy!

I stopped in yesterday to do recon for shopping later. You'll pay Rs.600-950 for a kurti, about 1200 for a sundress (they have Western dresses and slacks). Lots of free-size caftans in the Rs1000 range. Lots of dupattas (didn't see the price) and bandannas (around Rs.300) These are seconds, but the quality is no worse, and in fact markedly better, than anything you'd get in an Indian-made garment in the US. Definitely a place to stock up for gifts.
