Airport Transfer

I'm going to Delhi next week. Please tell me how I get to the hotel in Karol Bagh and what the fare is. The hotel offers pickup service which costs 500 rps per two persons. Do you think I use hotel service or get there by taxi. Thanks a lot.

One more question... Is it possible to go to Taj Mahal within one day and how? My flight from Leh will arrive Delhi around 8.30 am. and will the other flight to go back to my country will depart at mignight.

Rs 500 is reasonable, and saves a lot of hassle. Use your hotel's pickup service.

Yes, you can do Agra/Taj Mahal in a day, either by taxi or by train.

Agra takes under 3 hrs by car from Faridabad border. From Karol Bagh, it could take more than an hour to reach Fardabad border. In toto, that's about 4 hrs.
Add another half an hour for reaching Taj. So if you leave at 1000 hrs, you'd be there by 1430 or 1500 at latest. After an hour at the Taj, you could still leave to make it back to Delhi airport by midnight. Remember though that the return trip would take longer as you'd be battling evening traffic from Faridabad to Delhi.

Thanks a lot for your info. Probably, I will not go to Taj Mahal as don't want to stay there just one hour. Maybe next trip.

Here's the train bit:-
You could take the Jhelum or Kerala express that leaves Delhi at 1020 and 1130 hrs respectively and be in Agra by 1350 or 1420 hrs. Then you could take the Jhelum or JammuTawi Express back to be in Delhi by 2030 hrs latest. However - this is the moot point - if the train is delayed then you're in trouble. If you take the Intercity express you'd be back by 2230 hrs. That would be cutting it real fine.
If I were in your place, I'd take the cab straight from the airport to Agra, and be back in Delhi by evening after a good 2-3 hrs in Agra.

I would suggest that you take a tour bus or a taxi (AC Taxi is Rs5000, I am doing that on July 21st, day trip) leave at 6 AM then you will have 4 hours at Taj Mahal/Agra Fort). It would be shame to miss it.
