Advice on Where to Stay in Gurgaon
Advice on Where to Stay in Gurgaon
Hello
I'm travelling to Gurgaon for 2 weeks with work and my family is going to join me. I will be doing some work at the Uni-Tech Cyber Park and then training at a hotel (possibly the Crowne Plaza). As my family is coming with me, we'd like some space - ideally 2 bedrooms and of course, we don't want to pay a great deal more than we have to. Work will cover up to 14000 INR a nite. I've done some looking for serviced apartments as we stayed in one in HK and it was great. However, I've noticed most have a servant room and we don't want to have someone living with us.
Any ideas / suggestions?
Thanks!!

Have you pressed your employer (or the company for whom you'll be doing the training) for support or advice? There are no doubt places in the area, but having some local help is always useful. The Crowne Plaza may offer you a decent deal on a larger or adjoining set of rooms if you're using the facility -- they have a Brazilian restaurant that's decent (I lived in the neighborhood until early 2008).
The presence of a servant room doesn't mean that there would be a servant installed there.

Gurgaon can get expensive but an allowance of 14k/night would offer many options to you. Take your host's help in identifying a service apartment. There are some options on http://www.gurgaonstays.com/service-...aon-delhi.html I've seen signboards of Stanford Suites Gurgaon but haven't seen them up close.
Most of all, make sure that you're provided transport to cover local places as Gurgaon doesn't have a decent public transport system yet. Cyber Park and Crown Plaza are about 10 min drive away from Sushant Lok where Stanford Suites seem to be located.

Paying guest is other option , u can look for that .
