AC car on arrival in New Delhi station?
We don't want to book something in advance to keep options open and also because the train might be late. I know there is a prepaid cab desk, but are there private agency counters at the station the way there are at the airport? We'd like to get an AC car.
I know I could cross to Paharganj and look for a travel agency or hotel that could call a car, but I was hoping to get a car more quickly. I could call Megacab or Easycab from a PCO...do they turn up quickly or would we be waiting 45 minutes for them? Many thanks, |

I have gotten an A/C car from the taxi stand at the station. I have never arranged a long journey from the station tho, and some of the "a/c cabs" would be sketchy for long hauls.

Yes, we got a/c cabs just outside NDLS on two occasions, both for transport to central Delhi hotels.

shud not be much longer at the station, but that place is much more crowded.. but its still beter to wait for a few minutes then to go to the market and look for a cab.. and actualy radio cabs work out pretty cheaper than the prepaid cabs.. |
