500Rupee bed in Delhi

Anyone got any tips on a decent, clean, cockroach free place to get a bed for approx 500R. There are some nice places on the Hotels review but they haven't actually had any reviews.

Would you write a review if you had to share your bed with bedbugs or cockroaches? If so, I hope you would definitely mention the extra guests in your hotel description.

I've stayed in the HareRama Guesthouse, Hotel Vivek and Hotel Star View, all are fine but maybe not your cup of tea as it’s in Pahar Ganj...?

Tourist lodge would fit your bill

Hi,

I stayed at Tourist lodge on AKARSHAN ROAD the first lane after u pass the bridge after the new delhi railway station on the connaught place side .

It is pretty clean and the room was 450 with cooler ( which u wont require in this weather)

It has a TV also a clean bathroom with showers and flushes which work.

The chai is also good.

The lane has quite a number of hotels which suit all budgets so u can take your pick

Anil

??? I think those places are reviewed by definition or they wouldn't be there. In other words, what you see there are the reviews.

Auto drivers prefer Paharganj side, not CP side. Anyway, it's Arakashan Rd.

Nitpick: A. Rd. is not Paharganj, but Ram Nagar. It's almost 100 meters north of P!

Next door to the downtown is the "star paradise" It is in the hotel listings and gets good/bad reports .I have used it on a couple of occasions , both times good .It's cheap ,i found it clean ,and they have a website and do respond .Used there airport pick-up and the car was waiting ,no problem .
