North India July Travelling - Monsoooon?
Hi everyone,
I'm planning to use the second entry on my India visa, just had 6 weeks on the west coast and had to come back to the UK for some work. Planning to arrive on the 1st of July, and looking at flying into Delhi. My question is, on the route: Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Darjeeling, then back to Delhi. What do you think the weather conditions are going to be like? I'm happy with a mad amount of rain as long as it doesnt stop transport. I understand it will to some extent be affected by one of the monsoons though not sure which. Do you think it will be very detrimental to the trip or just a different aspect? How does the area change once under the monsoon season? Any experiences or advice woud be great to hear. Also, does anyone have any other suggestions on the general north, around this route with about 3 weeks to utilise? Look forward to hearing some tips. |
