Best Time to Visit Darjeeling
Hello everyone! I am from Bangladesh planning to visit Darjeeling in mid April. Is that the right time to go? how the weather will be that time? If anyone visited the place in April, please give me a shout..

Sorry, never been in April. I was there in August. It was foggy every day, and I had one brief glimpse of the Mountain on one morning at 5am. My friends just got there again, in February, and it was foggy everyday as well.
BUT, Darjeeling is really lovely, and I think it will be a bit chilly when you go. I was there in Summer, and had to buy a pullover for the crisp evenings.

Dear palerider, delhiwala and dhans thanks a lot for your reply. provided info will be of use I suppose. I had visited Darjeeling last October... the only thing that made me annoyed was sudden shower in every evening... it made everything damp which I dislike most..

Weather-wise, it is a great time to go. Friends from Darj say that b/c of the nice weather in Apr/May, it is high tourist season. So it may be kinda crowded.
