which beach in Sri Lanka?
Hi, I’m planning to go to Sri Lanka in January, mainly to enjoy nice beaches and swimming in the see. I found some good offers on Bentota, Unawatuna, Negombo, Mt Lavinia, Hikkaduwa.
I would really appreciate if someone could tell me which place is nice and which better to avoid. Thanks, Pablo |

Pablo,
knowing you as an ambitious young banker, shouldn't you be working hard stead of lying with your fat ass on some desolate beach in SL? |

There is nothing great abt the Negembo beach. It is just like marina beach in Chennai. You can avoid it.

In a recently conducted "Top 10 beaches of the world" survey by Discovery channel, can you guess which was rated as the No. 1 beach IN THE WHOLE WORLD?
Its Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. !!! There was no other beach from the sub-continent which made it to the list. Don't miss that beach for anything. |

Ahangama and Nilwella have great beaches. There's a nice little one near Tangalle, also. Our favourite for swimming is Ahangama. Glorious spot!
