Vehicles in Nepal

Due to monsoons I may not want to locate a cycle and ride to Nepal. Is there ANY chances of buying or renting a cycle in Nepal after flying in,

Thanks

Himalayan Roadrunners might be able to organize something for you: http://www.ridehigh.com/

Myself, I usually just rent a Yak with a tibetan carpet saddle and dolpa grain bag filled with a chang beer bamboo keg. Mush! Mush!

I should be rich, when I first came up with my plan, this is what I was picturing, after I've competed my budget, this is the way I'm going

Hehe, good link, I'm going to try to buy a used Bajaj 180 in Delhi and head north from there, I'm also going to try to kick back to Sept and the rain should be tapering off. I'm hoping to lock in a ticket this week (found one from NY to Delhi for $994)and I'll start begging and groveling for help finding a bike

That's why I'm behavin' so well

(first pic from another forum of a German gentleman who shipped his bike to the US for an adventure trip...just a joke...no disrespect intended)It's etremely hard and expensive to ship things to India

A good thought process thanks to the friends I've made and the help I've recieved at IndiaMike.com

I really do mean that, I've never said I was easy, but I always speak from my heart

I have a new schedule and this forum has made plan changes seem like minor irritations

Thanks all ;-)
