Smile Trekking nepal-help? 10 days in nepal and want to do trek,6 days?

Want to spend a couple of days in Kathmandu as we will have flown in from Australia. Are there 6 day treks that have the spectacular scenery? I have been reading the lonely planet and some walks obviously have better ones than other. Perhaps flying part of the way? Would love help in this are cause the book really doesn't help too much...THANKS HEAPS!!! Btw - we are both of average fitness.

Fly to Pokhara, which is much more peaceful than KTM and has a fantastic scenery. From there you can do treks that take only a few days and enjoy wonderful mountain views.

Is it easy enough to go overland or does everyone fly?

If you want to go by bus you can take a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Buses leave from the edge of the Thamel district of Kathmandu and take most of the day to reach Pokhara with a stop for lunch on the way.

The buses are reasonably comfortable and the scenery is great.

The trek that might suit you from Pokhara is the Annapurna Loop via Ghandrung and Tadopani. Magnificent views of Annapurna!

If you're short on time you could fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu but pre-booking would be advisable.
