Traveling from Dhaka

Hello... I am new to the board and was seeking some help. I will be in Dhaka for two weeks on business. I wanted to travel to India in my free time and was having trouble finding anything. I wanted to travel from Dhaka to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. Is it possible to do this on train or should I fly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note, if anyone has any tips for Bangladesh I would appreciate any help I could get.

I'm not too sure about the train routes, but if you want my opinion you should probably fly.

Thumbs up Hi eazyevs,

Welcome to IM.

Mahmud will be the best person to give you some great info regarding Dhaka. But, if you have enough time I’ll suggest you to avail the Dhaka – Kolkata bus service (you will be able to enjoy the scenic beauty) and then Kolkata to Agra (may be via Delhi) by train.

I once read an article about a bloke that bicycled from Dhaka to Kolkata. It was pretty impressive to read!
