Traveling from Dhaka
Hello... I am new to the board and was seeking some help. I will be in Dhaka for two weeks on business. I wanted to travel to India in my free time and was having trouble finding anything. I wanted to travel from Dhaka to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. Is it possible to do this on train or should I fly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note, if anyone has any tips for Bangladesh I would appreciate any help I could get. |

Welcome to IM.
Mahmud will be the best person to give you some great info regarding Dhaka. But, if you have enough time I’ll suggest you to avail the Dhaka – Kolkata bus service (you will be able to enjoy the scenic beauty) and then Kolkata to Agra (may be via Delhi) by train. Quote:

I once read an article about a bloke that bicycled from Dhaka to Kolkata. It was pretty impressive to read!
