| Travel Advice In November I shall be travelling to India and Nepal. I am working in Nepal on a community project, but have added a week onto my time so that I may see a little of India. As I intend to travel through India by coach and train at the end I my trip and I want to keep as much available time as possible, I would like some advice if any one can give me any. My plans are to get a return flight to Delhi, fly straight from Delhi to Nepal (on arrival) and then return to Delhi at the end of my trip by land, stopping to take in some sights. I have been advised that flights from Delhi to Katmandu are around $60, could anyone please confirm this or let me know how much they think this will cost? Also does anyone know if there would be any kind of customs or immegration problems for me to fly to Delhi and get a flight straight to Nepal, without stopping in Delhi for a night. Any advice would be much appreciated, this is my first time travelling in Asia so I do not know much and am relying on advice from friends that have not been to India for some years. Many thanks. ![]() |
