| To Thailand- Any suggestions I might pop into thailand end of oct for a week . I am looking for a basic package holiday 3 star or maybe sc. Do you know of any good holiday operators?. Which port of exit would i get the best deals from? i've been told either calcutta or chennai, is that true? Mod Note : Moved thread to Crossing the Border Forum. | Chennai in my opinion is the best place to hunt for the deails. Just saying 'Thailand' is too generic. Where do you want to go (Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Krabi, Samui, Chiang Mai)? What do you want to do? The package cost would depend on this. I spotted a great deal for USD 400 (flight + hotel, 4 nights) not too long ago. |

| Thanks mate for the info, not thinkin of goin anymore as i have discovered that my visa allows me to stay more than 6 months in india provided i register myself with the Frro. |
