Hi Praveen , welcome back....
![]() You can enter Nepal at Kakarbhitta border which is few km away from Bagodogra/Siliguri in W.Bengal . You can travel through entire length of Nepal using Mahendranagar highway. Many interior hilly places in Nepal have no road connection so you can't travel there by bike. Some of the places worth visiting in Nepal are Kathmandu,Nagarkot,Jiri,Pokhar a ,Sarangkot, Tansen, Tamghas, Sandhikharak, Chitwan National Park . You need to take detour from Mahendranagar highway to visit some of these places. After traveling entire length of Nepal you can exit at end of Mahendranagar highway @ Mahendranagar.i.e. Banbasa border in Uttarakhand .Hope this will help. |

I would add Bhaktapur to the list of places to visit in Nepal. It's a fantastic ancient town in Kathmandu valley, full of beautiful temples (with a tallest one in the country) and no traffic except two-wheelers. It is much more impressive and calm than crowded Kathmandu. Staying there for couple days was my best experience about Nepal.
