I will cross the border one day to find more about the places my grandparents (dada, dadi, nana, nani all born in pakistan) used to talk about with joy in their eyes.

Thumbs up It is really a 'Treasure'.

Another set of marvelous pix! It is really a treasure !!!!!

But Volga, I’m curious to know how 254856546FPXrJH_ph.jpg and 253127241VdIxof_ph.jpg looks almost same ? I managed to put them in single frame, which is attached.

Thank you VV
Your pictures take me back to the wonderful childhood I spent in the south of Iran. I lived in a small town called Masjid-i-Suleiman and I would love to go back there some day. There is something about that part of the world that grabs you and won't let go!

Mistral: the atmosphere is not so good i am sorry to say. They have been deprived of visitors for long enough to forget what they are and what they look like.

skell: I totally understand. In fact, I'm planning my next trip to start in Iran. I feel like there is something in me that starts changing, and I hope to the better, every time I am engrossed in the Islamic culture. despite the opulence of the Islamic art and architecture, i think there is no better place to learn humility and modesty. (no, I am not thinking of convertion )
