Stay in Lukla

Hi,

I am planning a trip to Lukla this October. I am NOT planning for a trek and I will be with my parents.
I am planning to Kathmandu (Night 1)
Pokhara (Night 2 & 3)
Lukla (Night 4, 5 and 6)
Kathmandu (Night 7).

I will be grateful if anyone can share these information.
1) What I came to know that there is flight from Kathmandu to Lukla but no direct flight from Pokhara to Lukla.
Can I arrange this way that on the same day I will fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu and then to Lukla without staying in Kathmandu.

2) As I have no plan to trek, just want to have a good view of snow-capped picks, may be of Mt. Everest, so will I get a good view from Lukla itself?

3) Where to stay in Lukla, any hotel suggestion?

Okay. it seems that not much information available regarding this segment of Nepal. I will post if I get to know something interesting.
Any idea about Jomsom and Kagbeni?
