Sri Lanka accom have you been to?

Has anyone stayed at the ocean view hotel .I dont even know the whereabouts of this place(maybe Negombo),I have just googled it but no real info can anyone advise.Also does anyone know a place to stay in SEP on the east coast.Cheers.

Don't know whether we should be talking about hotels in Sri Lanka on this forum! Anyway, there is an Ocean View Hotel in Negombo, which is on the west coast not far from the International airport. I have not stayed there so cannot comment on the hotel, but do know Negombo pretty well. I am sure there is also an Ocean View hotel in Galle, which is in the south of Sri Lanka.

Don't know about the east coast, but I would not personally venture there given the current situation. Having said that I have visited many times during the height of the civil war and am still here to tell the tale!
