Question about Amritsar to Lahore Drive
I'm thinking about driving into Lahore with a hired driver once I reach Amritsar.
As a Dutch citizen, I require a visa for Pakistan which I can apply for here in the Netherlands. What's the deal for Indians? If I hire a local driver in Amritsar, will he be allowed to take me across the border into Lahore for a day? Would appreciate any information on this. Fullred ![]() |

Never been there. But Indians need visa to enter Pakistan. So your driver wont be able to take you into Pakistan. You will be able to walk and cross border. then take a Pakistani Taxi/Bus to Lahore. |

Salut mes amis,
The driver'll take you to Wahga border, then you'll have to make it by foot to other side of the border to Lahore, then it's almost 1 hr from the border to Lahore main city. There're buses, taxis etc. on pakistan side of Wahga border. So I wish you very happy and sweet voyages, Imran Schah |
