PLEASE HELP!!!!! Katmandu - Lhasa

Hello you all!!!!!

I want to fly from Katmandu to Lhasa and then come back overland (or vice-versa) in March, 2005.

But one travel agency told me a few minutes ago that the flights from Ktm to Lhasa begin only in April (until October)!!!! Is that true????????

Very interesting link , with a minor sensation :

" New policy announced by CNTA (China National Tourism Administration) ends the former limit that only groups of OVER FIVE people (including five) are allowed to enter Tibet from abroad. Now individual tourists can enter Tibet and the trips can only be handle by CNTA pointed travel agencies."

One thing that makes it possible that this actually could become reality, is the proposed Ktm-Lhasa bus route.
