Nepalese visa

When you fly into Nepal at Kathmandu airport can you pay for visa
with Sterling or Indian Rupees or is it only US Dollars.

you're not allowed to pay in sterling or indian rupees and there is no money change facility for these currencies until you've got your visa, although once when i flew into nepal from india i only had indian rupees which they changed for me at the little gift shop despite it being against the rules. however, definately take the 30 dollars with you, it's much more straightforward that way
