I am a retired person and visiting all the holly places in India. This year I have decided to visit Pasupathinath and Mukthinath. Kindly help me on the following

Since Pashupatinath is in Kathmandu (we walked there from downtown), it's getting from Kathmandu to Muktinath that you need to know. It's very far and I only know that people used to trek there from Pokkera.

The links above are just some tour companies that make the trip but would not be the cheapest way, just maybe some helpful ideas. To get there on your own may take a long time. You could trek from Pokkera if you have a couple of weeks or you can fly.
