Nepal: Airplane or Train?!?!
Hello all!
I plan on going to India next summer... and yes I realize that's a long time from now. I plan on going solo so I feel that I need to be as prepared as possible.
I found this place called The Last Resort which offers bungee jumping in Nepal. They will provide the transport from Kathmandu, but I'm unsure how I should get to Kathmandu from India. I was planning on flying into Kolkata... then either flying or taking a series of trains. As a young college student, I am on a budget... and figured airline tickets would add another $150 to my trip. But is it worth it?!
Thanks!!

No trains to Nepal. Plan on flying or taking a bus.
Kathmandu
The cheapest option would be to fly into Kathmandu from Varanasi rather than Kolkata but flights are twice or thrice a week, depending on the season.
If Varanasi is on your itinerary you could plan accordingly.
