Need a hotel recommendation for 16-hour stopover in Colombo

I have a very inconvenient stopover in Colombo on Sunday 6 July - we arrive at 2am and depart at 8pm. I'd like to book a mid-range hotel near the airport that will allow us to check in at about 3am. I've never been to Sri Lanka and the guidebooks don't seem to list any hotels in the vicinity of the airport (although, admittedly, they may appear on pages that are not available on Google Books). I'd prefer somewhere that I could book online.

Does anyone have any first-hand recommendations?

The city area you would be looking for in search of a hotel is Negombo, an hour north from Colombo. The airport is rather small. There are a few small tourist offices before the exit, in case you cannot prebook before arrival. There is not much tourism going on, so you would probably find a reasonably prized hotel without prebooking. Belated thanks for your recommendation. I found a suitable hotel using the website you recommended but it turned out that SriLankan Airlines provided stopover accommodation (and all meals!) in a beachside hotel in Negombo as part of the fare so it wasn't required.
