Myanmar - India
I've heard that there is no land crossing over the boarder from Burma (Myanmar) into Assam. I find this hard to believe and my intention is to travel through Myanmar from Thailand and make it to India
Any help on this would be soooo welcome. Thanks |

Indian Border to Myanmar
Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh have borders to Myanmar but you cannot cross.
What you can do is taking a flight from Yangoon to Dhaka (Biman Air). From Dhakka you can go by bus to Shillong in Meghalaya. Border is open near Cherrapunj. From Shillong it's a 3 to 4 hours drive by bus to Guwahati, the capital of Assam. |

Also, I don't think it's possible to travel to Myanmar from Thailand by road either. (I know, you can make day trips from Northern Thailand, but these arn't official entry points).
