Muktinath in October, 2012

Hi friends,

I'm planning to visit Nepal in late October this year.
Our destination includes Kathmandu, Pokhra and Muktinath.
My budget is tight...so, I would request you provide me with some budget hotels at this places and also en-route to Muktinath...

Pokhra to Beni
Beni to Tatopani
Tatopani to Ghasa
Ghasa to Jomsom
Jomsom to Muktinath

Need suggestions from IM'ers...

I know there is a bus from Pokhara to Beni - for the rest of the route there are jeeps at least - I was there in '08 and I remember you could just hop a ride on a passing jeep - we were trekking and caught a ride when we got tired. It used to be there was no road between Jomsom and Muktinath but it has been under construction - we hopped a ride on a truck carrying concrete bags at one point between Eklebatti and Jomsom - I think it is completed by now. I know they are trying to attract more Indian tourists who want to make the Muktinath pilgrimage but don't want to trek. You might want to trek at least part of the way - I remember the stretch between Ghasa and Tatopani was amazing.
