there are so many places in southall and all parts of london, it is possible to have top quality food (at cheap prices) from most regions of the sub-continent in restaurants around london,
also indian food with south-east asian influences and southern african influences, then there is anglo-indian food, i remember the bangalore bangers and mash, i should realy do a list of the restaurants in london, but i have only dipped my toe into the indian food scene in london there are at least 5000 places to choose from, ive probibly tried about 100 but keep coming back to my favourite 10 or so places. one day i may attempt to do a list of 50 or so places. sadly, the quality in london is so consistantly high that it is very difficult to repeat in india, and despite some fantastic meals in india, i still come away being slightly dissapointed with the food. when i arrive back in london i have to go to my favourate places for a 'fix' of channa + roti's
