How much would a taxi cost from Sanauli to Kathmandu compared with the bus price?

As with the above question.

There are 4 of us, me, wife, 2 teenage children.

Also taxi compared with bus fare from Gorakpur to Sanauli??

I remember the mozzies in the grotty hotel/lodge in Sanauli too Lyndy. Would like to avoid that when we come up from Varanasi.

No money for flights, though.

Any suggestions anyone???

Last time I've travelled there (2 years ago) prices were:
Bus from Bhairawa to Kathmandu = 300 nepalese rupees per person (and extremelly annoying touts tried to sell these tickets at 375 rupees). Taxi - don't know but rough estimation would be something like 5000 NPR

taxi from Gorakhpur to Varanasi = 800 INR (lowest offered price, and they didn't agree to 600)
bus ticket from Gorakhpur to Varanasi = 65 INR
shared jeep "ticket" = 100 INR per person, extremely crowded but fast compared to a bus.
