How costly is it for an Indian to trek upto ABC of Everest?

Hi! Am planning a trek around the Everest region this year! I Need to know the rough estimate in Indian rupees for the ABC (Camp 3) of Everest, that comes in Tibet.

And, do I need to get the visa for Tibet in India only or I can get it in Nepal?

Any one who wants a visa to visit EBC in Tibet must get it from the Chinese Embassy of one's own Country. From India in your case, assuming that you are from India. I am not sure, but there is an additional permit required for visiting the South of TAR [Tibet Autonomous Region] where the EBC is located. Something similar to the Indian Inner Line Permit that all Indians and foreigners MUST obtain before stepping within the "inner line" near the Tibet border.

Yeah I guess so! Thanks. And yes I amm from India.

I did some research as well. They say you need to do the things through a travel agency only. Is it possible for two three persons to travel on their own like Nepal?
