Hotel Sardar International - Dhaka Bangladesh

Does anybody know is the "Hotel Sardar International" still open or not ?? The hotel is located in the South Kamalapur region in Dhaka. the address is as follow:

Sardar Coplex.
1, South Kamalapur, Motijheel
Dhaka ? 1217, Bangladesh

How much is the room rate in this hotel at the moment ?? Are there some other hotels in this region ?? Thanks.

Yes, they are. The rates are as under :

USD 5.5 (Non A/C Single)
USD 9 (Non A/C double)

USD 15 (A/C double)
USD 10 (A/C single)

But at present not required A/C rooms.

There also some more hotels in this area. If need, please send me private message to inform you deatils.

Mahmud, do you know the name and the price from some other budget hotels
around the south Kamalapur train station region in Dhaka. Hotels who accept foreigner tourist !!!
Do you know is there some bustransport (or train) from the ZIA int'l airport to the south Kamalapur train station at around 5AM ? So yes how much it cost and where can i take the bus ? We are looking for the cheapest way to the south Kamalapur train station. Thanks again.

Thanks. Yes, there are also some more hotels in Kamalapur are. Rates are almost same.

Otehr hand, it is wiser not to ride bus at 5 am due to security reason. Better to wait till 6.30 am. Then take a walk of 3 mnts to go Airport Bus stands. You will get a lot of bus to go Kamalapur. It is only around 25 kilometer far from ZIA. The bus fare is only Taka 10-12 (1 USD = 63 Taka).

By the way, if you go to directly form any other city by train, in that case, you can also catch train from Airport rail station which is very nearer to ZIA airport.
