Help! Budget GH needed in Colombo/Kandy
Hi All, i have to do a visa run (just for a stamp not a renewal) to Sri Lanka and leave in 6 days and know nothing about Sri Lanka. I don't really want to buy a guide book as only there 2 nights/days, so would be really grateful if someone could please recommend a budget (under $10) GH in Colombo, Negombo and Kandy. I'm not really interested in beaches but i'd love to see the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy, but do you think i could make it there and back (i arrive in Colombo on 10th March on am flight and leave Colombo on morning flight on 12th Marh). Can i just turn up at Colombo station and get a ticket to Kandy, and are the trains quite frequent/ I heard it takes about 2 hours(?)
