everest basecamp trek advice please

i am doing a 17 day trek to evrest base camp from the nepal side and need a bit of advice.

i'll be doing it in april and was wondering about temperatures? how cold will it be? what clothing should i take with me? etc.

also i have a sleeping bag that goes comfortably to zero and with a liner will get me down to -5 will this be sufficient or do i need something thicker?

thanks

Question Sleeping bag

Your sleeping bag with liner will do. It will hit that low only on one or two nights or so.

Considering global warming.... its bound to be higher[??]

Also consider that you will be ensconced in a wooden cocoon [log hut tea house] so there will be some 3 or 4 degree improvement over the outside temperature

All trekking goods are available at Kathmandu. Buy them locally.

Good trekking shoes may be hard to get... sometimes yes sometimes no. Shoes you'd better buy from home. Break them in by wearing them everyday for at least 4 weeks then come to Kathmandu.... (and buy the rest of the stuff).
