| Dhaulagiri Circuit trek Hullo I am planning to do the Dhaulagiri Circuit trek in the month of Oct 2008 & am looking for travel companions . This 13-14 day trek is listed as one of the top ten treks of Asia. Dhaulagiri, in central Nepal, is the world's eigth highest peak. This trek is graded as challenging & takes you to the remote wilderness areas around the entire Dhaulagiri massif . The other main peaks in this area include Dhaulagiri 2,3, 5 & Dhaulagiri Himal . This is a complete camping trek with no tea houses on the way & involves a glacial traverse & climbing two high passes of ~ 17500 ft . |
