delhi to turkey overland

Hey - I'm a 20-year-old woman from New Zealand, wanting to travel overland from Delhi to Turkey. I've already got my visas sorted out but am looking for a travel companion. I need to leave sometime before the first of July. If I don't find someone to travel with, how safe is it to go alone? Thanks

Good places to meet other overlanders would be the Regale Internet Inn in Lahore, the Muslim Hotel in Quetta, the Silk Road Hotel in Yazd, the Amir Kabir Hostel in Esfahan, and the Hotel Mashad in Tehran.

I don't know that I'd want to do this trip alone; there were some dicey areas when I went through by land in the 70s, and there are some things that do not change.

i have already visited iran but keen to visit this wonderful place once again as i could not see some of its beautiful sites due to time constraint. i teach history of iran and turkey and therefore interested to everything about them. very keen to join somebody on this tour
