11400 is the best fare we have found for DEL-KTM-DEL. Is that the best we could expect ?

Would be interested to know if anyone runs a luxury bus through into Nepal from the big Indian cities ?

You can get a ticket in Rs 10000/- by Jetlite, but it depends when you want to travel.

We found the RNAC fare on makemytrip.com where is the best place to get the jetlite fares ? We were going del-ktm in late Oct and returning in late Nov 09.

PS: I just tried the Jetlite website and the fares on there were about 16-18K IR per ticket (sure are a lot of taxes).

for cheaper prices in india you have to book either 30 days in advance or wait for the last minute deals,

In India International Online ticket is Expensive. Travel Agents give better deals. If you tell me approx dates & how many tickets, I will enquire from the agent.
'coz I am travelling to Nepal on 20th/21st Sept I am getting ticket by Jet Airways in 10800 & online website quoting Rs 12000/- in same dates.

Cheers..

Hi Patankot

That would be great. I could not find a PM or email link ? If you can PM me then I can provide dates, etc. it would be good to touch base with an agent in Delhi that is not just a web presence.

You can buy direct tickets from Varanasi , but it involves a switch at the border. Guide books warns against it , but for me it worked smoothly. The most comfortable option is taking the train to Gorakhpur , shared cab to the border, and then a bus - "de luxe " - or not to Ktm.
