Are you talking about the retreat ceremony at the Wagah Border, Amritsar?

If you are travelling alone the Pakistani side has a better vantage..

Hi folks thanks for that. Yes I am refering to the "show" when the border closes at Waga.
I will be in Lahore (45 mins over the border) and also in Amritsar so I can get to the border from both places and I just wondered where would be my best place for a decent view to see it all happen ? Thanks again. Philip |

The Pakistani side is better, it's less crowded, and you have a much better chance of getting close to the gates.
