Bhutan Travel query
Hi,
I am visitig Bhutan for a 5d/4n tour from 28 september. My plan is 27th - night stay at phuntsholing 28th - phuntsholing to thimphu o/n thimphu 29th- thimphu to phunakha or wangdue phodrang?? o/n phunakha 30th- phunakha to thimphu o/n thimphu or directly to paro?? 31st - thimphu to paro o/n paro 1st - paro to jaigaon OR 27th - night stay at phuntsholing 28th - phuntsholing to thimphu 29th- stay at thimphu 30th- thimphu to paro 31st - stay at paro 1st - paro to jaigaon P.S. Confusion is I cant extend my tour and I am going with my mate for a relaxed tour and also wanna see the places. So, is phunakha is very good to be left or wangdue phodrang is very good to be left??? 1.which plan to follow?? 2.Can I go and search for the hotel or they will ask for the hotel at border only?? 3. Help regarding hotel. Budget is around 600-1000 INR per day. 4. What are the costs of private taxis in there?? Cheers, Sid |

In Thimphu, you can stay in Hotel TT on the main Norzin Lam, opposite the clock tower. At Rs 500 it's a decent hotel (complete with a geyser and carpets etc.

Hi Sid, how was your trip, i'm planning a trip 27nov'09 onwards for approx. 8-9 nights, planning to visit bumthang, punakha etc, any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks and cheers
