Hi all,
I am from hyd.I am goin to attend marriage on may 12 in nellore.From there we(8 people) are planning to go to pondicherry and mahabalipuram.At the end of second day(may 14th) evening by 5.30 we should catch train from chennai egmore.Can you please help us with complete information(including buses or trains availability ,fares,places etc)

Where ever you are going to be, please reach Koyambedu bus terminal. From there you can get direct busses to Mahabalipuram [ Some time AC Volvo busses ]. it will take hardly two hours. Cost would be around Rs. 30 in normal bus and Rs. 60 to Rs.100 in AC Bus. You can spend a day in Mahabalipuram. You have beach, shore temple, five rathas, light house etc. end of the day you can get bus from mahabalipuram to pondy. it will take another two hours. you will get only normal busses. cost would be same. You can stay there in the night. if you want you can have nice boozzz. Enjoy. Next day you leave by pondy around 12pm. You either get down at Thiruvanmiyur or some where or Guindy. If you are getting down at Thiruvanmiyur, you have direct busses to Central. if you are getting down at Guindy, get electric train to park station which is opposite to central station. dont go to koyambedu while returning.
