To Travel from Chennai to Chandigarh
HI Friends,
I am new to this forum and happy to be with you all... I need a help... Can anyone please let me know which is the best way to travel from Chennai to Chandigarh? I need to be in Chandigarh latest by 9 AM on 3rd May. A combination of train & flight or flight alone will be appreciated. Thank you very much fro the help, in advance... Best regards Sheena |

Welcome to IM Sheenawarrier.
You could try the following sites for flights, say to Delhi and then trains to Chandigarh. There are flights reaching Delhi around 13.20 and 14.15 and then there is a train from NDLS (#2005)at 17.15 that gets to Chandigarh at 20.22. http://www.ixigo.com/ http://www.indianrail.gov.in/ |

Looking futher at IXIGO site, there seems to be a direct flight from Chennai to Chandigarh.
Jetlite S2252 leaving at 06.35 and arriving at 5.00 pm for Rs.7349. oops: looks like IXIGO is not giving the correct info. Jetlite website shows that there is in fact a stop at Delhi. Last edited by sssall : Apr 22nd, 2008 at 20:39. Reason: added the oops bit |
