I am an American who lived in Chennai for two years, I have created a few pages on Sites of Chennai (not all included) here is the URL

greetings.
i'll be going to mamallapuram soon , arriving at the madras int.airport on 1/1/3 at nite and heaing from there to mama on a cab, at some point i'd like to go to chennai to get train tkts to kerala and varanasi, so you could possibly inform me what is thw best way to gwt from mama to chennai to the train station and back. another question is: do you know how do i get to kanchinpuram from mama and how long it takes, can i just spen a day there?
last question: trains to kerala? kannur more specifically, what would be the easiest way?

You can take Chennai - Mangalore mail to reach Kannor.. This trains starts from chennai at 8.00 PM in the evening

Hi
Mamallapuram to Kanchipuram it may be around 60km,with road condistion it may take you 2 hrs by bus.It goes via Chengalpattu,if you dont get direct bus then can take Bus to Chengalpattu,from there you get Kanchipuram bus very frequent interval.
