In Royapettah, heading North up Royapettah High Road (you'll have just come down off the flyover), and just before the messy five-pont junction with Lloyds Road, there is a dishevelled and old looking shopping complex on the right, just before Vitan supermarket called something Officers's something (approx).
I was sitting in VIP restaurant opposite (by the bus stop) once, about three years ago, and met a guy who told me he head being buying artist's materials from a shop in that complex that he rated very highly. I haven't seen the shop, and don't know if it is still there. In Dec 2005 I visited a shop in that same complex that sells a wide range of papers.

I know a shop with a huge range of papers.
It's in Royapettah, on the high road, inside a scruffy looking complex call Officer's Something or other. Near the junction with Lloyds Road, and the Vitan Supermarket At least it was in Dec 2005: they made the gift bags for our wedding, out of that paper that has flower petals pressed into it. |
