Just been scouting around for ideas for things to do with my free time during my upcoming trip, and came across the Mylapore Festival in Chennai.
It is taking place from 21st to 24th January, and is a celebration of the arts and heritage of Mylapore, an ancient area of the city. The festival includes a kolam (coloured sandpainting) contest, art and photography exhibitions, and a free programme of drama, dance and music.
