maid (cleaning and cooking and baby sitting) in Egmore

hi !

we are three, and we are looking for the following:

- either a referenced and experienced cleaning/cooking lady for the coming 3-4 weeks

- or a referenced and experienced and english speaking lady that could be a bit of cooking (not only indian) and cleaning and baby sitting, for a much longer period.

Place of work is Chennai, and we are thinking about 5-7 hours a day, depending on how fast she is at work. from monday to friday or monday to saturday.

Any reccomendation is highly welcome ! and thank you in advance !!

Hello matteo.

Trouble is, anyone able to recommend such a person is probably already employing them. You may have no choice but to go through an agency.

If you read recent posts in this Chennai section of the forum, you'll find a reference to an expat women's club. Look for Mirjamd's postings, I'm sure she's mentioned it.

I know that they sometimes advertise good staff looking for jobs when they are leaving the city.

What you are suggesting is a route i am already following !

but, as you corectly say, the probable only reason to be in the position of recommending a house lady is in the hands of someone leaving, of course...

But thank you anyway, your advise was very proper !
