Phew *mops brow*. I thought I'd make a summary of all these restaurants and eateries, it took me hours. I am afraid I left out the non Indian ones cos I was starting to get a bit weary. There's 40 in this list and I think a few vanished in the cut and paste process putting them into a rough alphabetic order. I've added the phone numbers where I could find them. If they didnt turn up on google maps I decided they were mythical.

On Mount Road, and elsewhere, veg fine dining. Run by volunteers like doctors and lawyers who cook as well as serve (don't know about cleaning). Highly recommended. Pay as you like. (from what I can gleam from other reviews, the food is like home cooked, but as you might expect with a volounteer set-up the service can be chaotic, make sure you have plenty of time on your hands).
