Fountainhead Bookshop: What happened?

Fountainhead Bookshop, on Dr R K Salai...

Went there today, and found an empty shell of a building being refurbished. Is the business dead and gone? It was never exactly packed, so I guess that wouldn't surprise me, but I would be sad.

If it's anything like the independent bookshops around here they've either succumbed to or gone 100% online(if you can't beat 'em you'd better join 'em). As a matter of fact, there isn't too many Indian Book Sellers who aren't selling via Alibris, Abebooks etc. these days ..... and doing very well at it too.

For us book browsing fanciers there is a bit of loss in this..
