Expat Dating in Chennai?

Hello everyone,
I'm new to Chennai, just got here a couple days ago and looks like I'll be here for awhile. I was just wondering if theres any decent Expat groups here and what not. I see a very long and lonely time ahead and was wondering if anyone felt the same? I'm a 26 male pilot and just looking for people to hangout and spend time with in this huge city.

hmmm....the only group of expats i've seen looking to mingle. it wont qualify as dating, but 'carbon dating'... lol...still i'm sure there's hope. In the meantime, go out, explore this wonderful city, and don't look only for expats...u just might form fantastiv friendships with others as well. All that's needed is a willimgness to forego the familiar and embrace differences:-)

Next Tuesday 21rst there's again the weekly Chennai Expats Network Party (from facebook). If you need further details just let me know. On this evening its in 10th Downing Street.
Age in general 18-40 (+ some older ones), always around 40-60 people.

Ha figures something happens when I'm out of town. Been in New Delhi for the last week and a half for training. I would totally be up for meeting some other expats in Chennai, would be nice to know someone in that city. Here's my email

Exapat groups... Local groups.... whatever you want to find... is here in Chennai. You need to know where exactly to look. The 10 Downing Street expats party last night would have been a good start. Otherwise, you could try the night clubs 'Havana', 'Pasha', etc. You could even try the pubs 'Zaras' and 'Bike and Barells'. They have ever flowing expat crowds.
