chennai hotel, not broadlands

I would like to know this as well. I am thinking about booking with Pandian -- but then I read about Hotel Singapore in the Hotel Listings section, and have consequently developed an inexplicable fixation with it, and thus would like to know more about it. I also I can't seem to find an e-mail address for it, I can't find it in the India Yellow Pages, I am beginning to suspect it doesn't exist.

isn't this "all-forgeiners" (not all-whites btw, big difference) policy very common in the US? i've been refused from hostels in the US because of my lack of forgein passport and it seemed totally understandable (and i'm a good looking student!). coming from new york city i know that occationally forgeiners are seen as easy prey, hence the "safe havens." does the former caste concepts make this unfair in the india while being ok in the us? (sic, like, all of this..)

Your post follows the previous one after two years! So I don't think we're up to date with the current situation.

However, the behaviour is certainly not ok, anywhere --- and I think it must feel particularly bad if it happens in your own country.
