this one's in $'s -

you can easily check on the Internet for cheap flights. You say "from anywhere"??? Well, to get a price you'll have to put in a departure place - and date - but you know that eh? you just gotta spend the time online, no other way for it I'm afraid!!!!

Adult Fare $1236

VERY cheap air tickets

http://www.unclaimedtickets.com
The above link will let you see what's been sold recently and to join the site and be able to search for exactly which fare you want costs, I think, about $25. But for that you may save about 70% on the cost of your ticket. Some of these long-haul fares have sold for ridiculous prices, but I guess you have to be ready-to-go with just a little notice! Good luck!

I haven't read the rules and regulations of this site - so don't take this as a recommendation from me - I was just surfing around for LotusFlower who posted first on this thread - guess you'd better get surfing too!

can be difficult to work out best price, try Southall travel ( http://www.southalltravel.co.uk ) an Indian company based in an Indian rich area of London I found a price of €563 return on their sit flying with Emitrates on 10 September if you emailed them they may be able to put a good deal together for you. Need to give them range of dates coming and going etc

Your link (which is broken BTW) gives me bad vibes. There is absolutely no information on the website that says who is behind it. The "DISCLAIMER AND TERMS OF USE" has a long explanation saying that they are not responsible for anything and ends with "By accessing UnclaimedTickets.com, you also certify and attest that you are not affiliated with any local, state or federal law enforcement agency." Hmmm.
Using whois for the domain I get a record for the contact who has a regular yahoo email address and lists the phonenumber with an areacode that does not exist.

seems like an odd request,. unless you have dates and origin/destination info, it will be difficult to help. what does cheap flight "for chennai" mean? You could get a really good deal on a flight from bangalore to chennai.. but, is that what you really want?

........that's why I said....don't take this as a recommendation from me! However, I do know this site does get cheap tickets as a colleaugue from South Carolina and one from Atlanta, both got to Delhi for less than $400 return last Christmas. Personally I've never been in a position to be absolutely "ready-to-go" but was simply responding to the cry for "a cheap ticket" ....with NO date, no departure country, no information from Lotus flower at all - a friend surfing for another Imer

OK, that sounds a lot better, then, as you know people who have been customers.

Surprised other IMers haven't come accross it. Wonder if they only do USA? I'll take another look.

I might well be in a position to leave at a moment's notice in a month or so....

That's great Nick-H, but like I say - we're all adults here and must make our own decisions about life....including who we get our air tickets from! SO.....

and this is for everyone:

DO NOT complain to me IF you get screwed over tickets you might purchase from these people!! I personally did not read the terms and conditions, I personally have not gone past the first page of the site, OK okay? I have absolutely no idea of their business practices, only that a religious sister and her social worker cousin got to be in Delhi last year for Christmas (and thence went on to Shillong) and it was the only way they could have afforded to be back with their people for Christmas - actually they threw away the return part of their tickets and aint come back since !! It seems that religious have no problem at all either, with getting visa's renewed time and time again without leaving the country!! I guess they smile sweetly and send up a little prayer or three, anyway the religious sister had been in Shillon for 25 years as a...wait for it...."tourist" until three years ago......now it looks like she's in for her half century.... but that's another story.

PLEASE READ AND DIGEST THE ABOVE WARNING, all ye who decide to enter into a purchase agreement with unclaimedtickets.com.....'cos I aint takin' NO flack from anyone .......CYA

Taken as read Shanthi; no problems. Personal responsibility rules!

I'll probably just use my personal friendly travel agent anyway

Friend of a friend: not something I can pass on, I'm afraid... He can usually give me about £50 off other quotes, so it isn't exactly a fortune, but if he did it for everyone ...

£540? Wouldn't have thought BA direct would be much more than that! Maybe you are getting a bit too close to Christmas.
