Please bear with me as this is my first posting . I spent some time in Chennai (madras) as was , around 1946-7-8 and I was interested to notice a pic of a Madras shop called Higginbotham from whom I bought an Indian road map . I also noticed mention of Marina beach and remember it well , including the heavy rollers which came in at certain times of the year. I would be interested to see any old & new pics of that area . Also of Arkonam where I also spent some time . May I say that I find your forum most interesting . Best regards Blackeye
